The journey to a net zero future demands bold, transformative thinking across every facet of our energy, natural resource, and production systems. From the minerals we mine to the food we consume, and the ways we generate energy, innovation is essential to drive this transition.

Zinc's pitch competition will showcase up to 10 of the most groundbreaking ideas and visionary teams from the London/UK ecosystem, spotlighting cutting-edge solutions that are laying the foundation for a sustainable, green revolution. Join us to celebrate the pioneering ideas shaping the future of our planet.

Teams selected for our climate-themed pitch event will gain access to exclusive advice from top industry experts, investors, and leaders pioneering the climate-tech space. Each team will receive personalised feedback from the judging panel to help refine your approach. For the winning team, the journey doesn’t stop there—you'll receive dedicated one-to-one mentoring with one of our expert climate investors at Zinc, unlocking future opportunities for growth, including exploring potential investment.

Are you or anyone you know working on innovative and impactful ideas in this space?

We’re looking to showcase pre-seed, deep-tech ideas and would love your recommendations based on (but not limited to) any of these categories:

Critical mineral recovery/circular economy – Innovations in extracting, recycling, and reusing resources to reduce waste and ensure sustainable supply chains.
Deep decarbonisation – Solutions aimed at reducing emissions in hard-to-abate sectors such as heavy industry, transport, and energy systems.
Bio-materials and bio-chemicals - Alternatives to traditional materials and chemicals, made with sustainable, low-carbon feedstocks.
Industrial heating and cooling - Technologies to improve energy efficiency, electrify industrials, and store energy

Applicants must be willing to pitch in person at our London office on Wednesday 6th November.
